600 hp and 0-100 km / h in less than 3 seconds for the Lotus Eletre, a model that marks a turning point in the future of the English brand.
A revolution has begun at Lotus. Always associated with sports reading, the English brand broadens its horizons to try to conquer new markets and a new audience.
We are not exaggerating if we say that the Eletre opens a new phase in the history of the brand. The model represents Lotus’s first SUV and Lotus’s first five-door and electric car and the world’s first electric Hyper-SUV.
There is a reason why Lotus defines the Electre as a “Hyper-SUV”. In addition to high technology and advanced driving systems, the SUV promises true supercar performance. The battery of over 100 kWh powers two electric motors (one on the front and one on the rear to develop all-wheel drive) for a total of more than 600 hp.
The Eletre reaches a maximum speed of 260 km / h with an estimated 0-100 km / h sprint of less than 3 seconds. At the same time, Lotus declares a maximum range of 600 km in the WLTP cycle and the possibility of using recharging up to 350 kW to add 400 km in about 20 minutes.
All that remains is to see it and try it on the road. First deliveries to Europe, the UK and China are scheduled for 2023 and pricing has yet to be announced.
Lotus present and future.
